Colour or color popping a black and white image in photoshop

Easy-to-use method for creating a black and white image with sections of colour (color) in photoshop. In this video - i use a wedding photograph that has been converted to mono, and then bring out the red in the roses. Simple and easy to do.

when i black and white, I cant do the layer mask?

@jespir007 Check the sequence...and also check to see if you have your photo on an editable layer (one that is not locked).
