@Rrtor Interval training is alternating intervals of high intensity and low intensity. The Insanity workout program talks about "Maximum Interval Training" a lot, which has significantly more high-intensity than standard interval training. P90X is more focused on the "muscle confusion" marketing slogan--basically just their way of describing mixing up the workout every few weeks, so your body doesn't get used to a pattern. It actually does help, but it's not as advanced as they make it sound.
@Rrtor oh wait i looked today and it isn't interval training its called 'muscle confusion', although there might be interval training in it. And now i'm confused, but it's definately muscle confusion that dosn't let your body adjust to one routine. And thanks for the luck, i need it xD.
@Rrtor i am in a way reciting the marketers because i havn't started p90x yet so whatever i say may be wrong, but what they said was that the programme is designed so that the body doesn't get a chance to adapt to a specific routine, just when it is about to adapt the programme changes and hence maximises the results.
