@oldno74..Hmmmm So you claim jesus came back in 70 a.d. but was invisible, that's like me saying I have $1,000,000 in the bank but the numbers are invisible on the statement. What is it with christians and invisible jesus? didn't Harold Camping say exactly the same thing a few months ago? Why is jesus invisible, what's the point? I'm sorry, I don't want to sound rude but what you have said sounds plain stupid.

@justpaul62 Jesus did return, in 70 ad. Christians need to read the Bible through a 1st century lens. Jesus said "this generation" would see the end. The Apostles new it too. His return was not visible to the naked eye, in the sense you could see Jesus. Imagery for God judging and coming in the Old Test. was always "coming on a swift cloud" or similar. Jesus used the same language, "they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." all is fulfilled.

This shit has been going on for hundreds years and the Israel stuff for a long time too. The biblical Armageddon stuff is always "just around the corner", but of course never comes. Each new generation is ignorant of these facts though.

@TheOrigionalArroyo I try to be polite because I want to treat others as I would like to be treated. It's actually kinda funny, cuz that was one of the two laws Jesus said was most important, along with the prayer "Hear O Israel." My being agnostic has nothing to do with my values. I hope you can understand how not all of us nonbelievers think that you're morons, just like we hope you can see that we get our values from just being good people.

Notice how vitriolic the comments of supporters of evangelicals are....very telling. You know, I can disagree with people politically and religiously, even at a political rally without stepping on heads. Conservatives can not.
