I think we can probably eliminate minnie and peter. (Smart, huh?) Joshua Bell has already been guessed. Personally, I don't think Lisa Batiashvili is as talented as she is pretty, and I'll let unemcumberedfiddler take it from here.

Among the names I have listed, I believe the mystery violinist to be the one who plays the ex-Paschell, artfully crafted in 1742 by Pietro Guarneri, and often confused with a Stradivarius: Stephanie Chase.

You are absolutely, positively correct - the Mystery Violinist is Stephanie Chase, performing Camille Saint-Saens' "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso" with the Philharmonia, conducted by Geoffrey Simon.
