Seems this was not a coup, but an attempt at an illegal referendum by the President Manuel Zelaya. They went thru the legal procedures and their Supreme Court ordered his arrest. The government is still in tact, just the president ousted.......so this was not a military coup as reported by MSM.
Yes that is why I posted this video...our mainstream media in America is reporting this as a coup and that's not what it was as you explained very well. If our Congress and Supreme Court in America would make sure our laws are adhered to we wouldn't be in such a mess today.

Illegal referendums are just that illegal! There is established protocol in Honduras for amending the Constitution and it starts with their Congress not the President!
The President is not above the law and he wasn't kidnapped, he was exiled and he should have been arrested! The interim government is not run by a strongman, the interim President is the former Vice President as their Constitution calls for. The Honduran government has the sovereign right to enforce their laws against anyone.

get your facts correct. This is not a coup! No constitutional amendments were ever proposed, they were being forced illegally.

Getting elected. Organizing referendums. Proposing constitutional amendments. These are the sorts of things that happen in a country that is experiencing democracy.
Kidnapping the president. Installing an unelected strongman. Suspending civil liberties. These are the sorts of things that happen in a country that is experiencing a coup.
