  • @cardsandramsfan Now theres nothing but reality crap. There are still some good sitcoms like two and a half men, big bang theory, the middle and shit my dad says.Even reality shows were better in the 1970's.Do you remember Thats Incredible and Real People?

  • The 1990's weren't that bad compared to the 70's, if you're old enough to remember the cheesy comedies of the 80's-Family Ties, Golden Girls, etc. But the 70's was definitely a good decade for comedies. Depending on when it was in the 70's and which network-All In The Family, Jeffersons, One Day At A Time, Maude, Happy Days, Laverne/Shirley, Good Times, Sanford and Son, M*A*S*H, etc. Pretty much any night of the week there was something good on TV. I miss those days.

  • Groovy.

  • @apotheounSTK Damn, she was hot then!Andy Gibb was involved with Victoria Principal during her Dallas heyday and his on the top of the pop charts as well. She said his drug abuse spiraled out of control and was just too much for her to keep the relationship going with him.

  • @fromthesidelines That's why Danny Dark's voice sounded so familiar beyond just as the voice of Superman.

  • @cardsandramsfan Sitcoms and variety shows had ruled the roost in the 70's,that's for sure.I can't be bothered to even turn the TV on anymore because it's oversaturated with reality shows and umpteen CSI ripoffs.

  • @MrJacMac1986

Know what's funny JacMac? Another user by the name of 0814ma told me that exact same thing. He stated, "The distinctive "look" of a decade takes a while to emerge". What also supports that point is the fact I recently bought an issue of Jet from May of 1980 and it feels so '70s!

  • @barber747 I always thought of 1980-1982 as more like 1970's years. To me the 1980's culturally didnt really begin until 1983.Just like 1970-1973 were more like 1960's years culturally.Seems like decades dont really get their identity for 2 to 4 years after they start.

  • @MrJacMac1986

"That's Incredible!" was a 1980s show and no, I've never seen either one...

  • Wow! Florida Evans - Damn, Damn, Damn!

  • True that...if I wanted to see the Ed Sullivan Show I had to go to my aunt's house in Cherry Hill New Jersey.

  • cbs always had the worst reception on my parents tv growing up
