As I know Sinhala people are not just aryans. (Im sinhala)Before aryans come to sri lanka there lived indigenous people. The aryans from north destroyed those civilizations and took over the lands. So as i think we have links to tamil people too in blood. The war here was sucking. Though sinhala I think it was our fault. fault of some stupid nationalists of 19th and 20th centuries. And LTTE is also guilty for all the bad stuff they did. But when pressure gathers it come out badly.

If you check on wikipedia it cleary states. Singhalese is Indo-Iranian (aryan) people.

Its a mix betwin different north indians that came to the island. You can search even on youtube after "Yavanas" Indo-greeks" and Kambojas that was buddists at that time both had immigration to Sri Lanka trough big battles and wars all the way from todays afganistan and pakistan to sri lanka. Search on Yavanas you will see a nice movie . Aswell Singhalese on wikipedia clearly states aryan ...

Speak for yourself, maybee the white man cant tell but for sure we real sri lankans can see who is tamil and who is singhalese (of cos not in all cases) . But mostly singhalese have aryan futures, what i mean is ...South iran , is similar look to singhalese people...

@dinapoli123 first off, humble yourself. Secondly "Aryan' means NOBLE, there's nothing noble about "Singhalese" or Scandianvians. Thridly, nobody can tell the difference between Tamils and any other Indian or Sri Lankian. Nobody can tell the difference between the women being interrogated and the homosexuals doing the integration.
