lmao, i tried to mess my MK1 up and it worked.. ERror MACro as mentioned above by Chetofobico. I find it amusing and very typical of the MK development team to make a char with a name like Ermac. It's awesome =) gotta love Ed Boon and the MK team for life =)

@nintendo501 He was actually an error in the arcade version. He never showed up in the Sega version as far as I know.

They say he was a glitch on the Sega Genesis/Megadrive versions of MK1.
And if you played Scorpion too long, it would glitch and say "Error Macro".
