one of our assignment projects for microcontroller subject, the line following robot using PIC16F877A as the microcontroller. I used PID which was a mistake because the tyre didn't have enough grip so it would veer off course even if PID was in play in cornering.

What other chips did u use? My prof kind of hates me and he has given me this project to do it all alone in two and a half weeks time....What did u use ? IR sensor or LEDs with LDR. He just assigned me the project today. Right now I am hell depressed.
