The Animals and Friends (featuring original 1960's R&B pop group The Animals' drummer John Steel together with Mick Gallagher who joined The Animals in 1965 on keyboards, Johnny "Guitar" Williamson on lead guitar and vocals and Pete Barton on bass guitar and lead vocals) perform a collection of Animals hits at a superb gig at The Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex on Sunday 21st June 2009. This was the last event in The Adur Arts Festival and it was an enormous success and a sell-out at The Ropetackle. This 10 minute video captures two of their songs from a really enjoyable and nostalgic evening. It shows that their 60s sounds are just as popular today! For The Animals and Friends contact Pete Barton at Rock Artist Management. Thank you, Ropetackle, for staging such interesting and varied events during the 2009 Adur Festival. This modern Arts Theatre has a lovely intimate atmosphere. Come along and see for yourself at Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex and check out www.ropetacklecentre.co.uk
