  • This video was very informative, as I recently crashed my bike into a pile of hammers and was not quite sure if it was safe to continue riding it.

  • Lets see the radiograph after that.

  • Yeah but the steel fork is still safe to ride out of the woods....

Really though, I don't understand the point of the this video.... "Look you can bash the shit out of our carbon fork with a hammer and the carbon layers have not been punctured or cracked".... but "don't continue to ride it....." WTF??? Is is structurally damaged or not? I guarantee that it's completely fucked. What a waste of a gorgeous fork to make this vid.

  • Kinky

  • What is this? The least scientific test I have seen in my life!!!

  • Awesome Demo. Thanks Chris

  • Obviously there are people out there on the trail with hammers!!! What?

  • Where are his safety glasses? Very dangerous to hammer without safety glasses.

  • If you know some physics. Dropping from 5 meters on a carbon fork with a punctured tyre gives a tad bit more energy to absorb, than hitting a carbon fork at one spot with a 500g hammer.

  • I'd still ride the steel

  • Poor execution! Tanya Harding would be disappointed.

  • baahhh he said niner fork!! that means its my fork!!
