They are primarily made of mask-walls and parallax ceilings/floors, the bricks are in fact mask and everything above and below them is "sky" - parallax.

  • @Tekedon All the flat stuff is sprites, the archway is created from masked walls and parallax floors and ceilings, it is difficult to describe. I have now released a map with two of these bridges in for people to reverse-engineer, this can be found in the video description.

    I may be making a tutorial video at a later time.

    Sure I've seen you around 3D Realms forums, though I don't go there much now (yeah, I'm one of those traitors that went to Duke4.net).

  • That's pretty neat, although the bridge looks a little strange. I can't remember what they were, but I came across other features that could be made without modifying the engine.
