I think the 30's are the golden age of Grand Prix. The cars were amazing...for example, the "silver arrows".

if i remember right . the game * Gran Turismo 4 * has intigrated one of these Mecedes Stream liner Cars that you can get a taste of what it might have been like to drive , i wish one of our Many Sports Channels would start showing Videos and Clips like these , thanks a ton for Uploading all of them / Cheers

Epic stuff. I'm not one of those who thinks that today's drivers couldn't do what these guys did. IMO today's drivers can drive these cars on the limit as well. All elite racing drivers have massive balls, no matter what era they raced in, but I will forever have a special respect for the drivers who raced in the first few decades of motor racing.

Yeah, and you really should have seen Sir Malcolm Campbell — he was the 1st man ever to reach 300+ mph! Now that's shocking, especially in such early times as the 30's!
