Tomato is a custom firmware that allows the user to install a new firmware in compatible routers. This is very similar to DD-WRT, but a bit different.
You can unlock the power of your router even further using Tomato. Cool features include ethernet bridge, wireless restrictions, and advance wireless strength.

I have a WG602 netgear router. In order for me to use my Xbox live I have to update my router firmware, when I put in my ip adress (192.168.0.1) in my browser it opens a Linksys Phone Adapter Configuration page?? And It doesn't come up with an administration option to click, and it doesn't ask for a username and password :/ but it does offer all the router options like application and LAN setup etc. I have no clue how to update my router, and chance u know what I can do?

@dp01281 Look in router manual. Type in correct ip address for the router, there should be a firmware upgrade box somewhere.

@MrGamer799 Yea, put the old firmware back, pretty simple. But I love tomato firmware. Just being able to extend the power of the router, + bridge mode is more than enough incentive to mod it.
