UFC's Matt Hamill: "It's an Honor to Fight Tito"

MMA H.E.A.T.'s Karyn Bryant spends a few moments with Matt Hamill after the UFC 121 press conference, and gets his thoughts on fighting his former mentor, Tito Ortiz. As a hearing-impaired fighter, Matt talks about the role he plays in the deaf community, and what his victory would mean for them. Matt talks about his pre-fight ritual: It may surprise some, but the Light Heavyweight actually "listens" to music as part of his routine in the locker room.

@DariushUFC1985 Did you hear Matt say "I appreciate (that) you brought this up? In my experience, when someone says this, it means that it's an unusual question that they are happy to answer. Today at the open workouts I talked with his Dr. even more about music, and it turns out that Matt has a lot of opinions on the subject. Does he look offended by the question? No. Does he look happy to talk about something that probably no one ever asks him? Yes. I'm a fan of Matt's. Please don't hate. :)

@tmdkaaskop @saifking35 @pancenka @DariushUFC1985 Asking someone hearing-impaired about music isn't wrong. If you knew anyone with this disability, you'd know they appreciate being treated like anyone else AND many of them DO enjoy music. Did you listen to the interview? Matt himself even explained how he turns the base up and he's a good dancer. Just b/c they listen to the music differently doesn't mean they can't enjoy it. Why is that so strange to people?
