"on a" sounds right, "carried" is definitely right, but I don't know about the rest. Obliged anyway (this is tarwater01, BTW).

I second the love. I would've have loved to have met her circa 1967... or even today, but she's withdrawn from the spotlight. More power to her, it's just sad that we've only got like, what, 40 songs of hers to enjoy.
