I've always loved the Bert and Ernie bromance. Ernie pushes Bert to be more adventurous and joyful, Bert keeps the both of them grounded. Spectacular.

I still don't see what the big stink with Bert and Ernie is. I watched Sesame Street growing up and didn't think twice about Bert and Ernie living together or sleeping in the same bed...of course I was also a TODDLER. I don't see the deal, kids don't notice OR care about the crap that pisses adults off
