  • At first I didn't remember the song Just the nice permutations around the open D chord much Like the the song "The Actor" by the Moody blues So I went to the Beautiful U tube and sure enough I found it

  • This song is very cool for budding Guitarists. It's all written around the D chord With nice right hand Picking and bass line movement for you young Guitarists to figure out. It's all Good yeah!

  • wizard - trippin on a flashback to hearing this at Winterland in San Fran. Believe it or not didn't know it was Dave. Totally lost it- must have been a headrush!!!

A real treasure- would love to hear it again.

    The Wizard

  • This song was very therapeutic to me when I was recovering from a devastating relationship break-up back in the mid 70's. I wrote a small book and dedicated to this song inspired particularly the last verse: Thanks so much for sharing it.

  • There were some big names on this album. Graham Nash, Stevie Wonder, George Harrison. That's Stevie Wonder on harmonica on this tune.

  • ....good times music...good sound, well uploaded!!

  • Stevie Wonder on harp?

  • @rgeffon Yes, this is my Favorite Dave Mason song too.Great memories finishing High School in Miami Florida and all the hot girls:)

  • My all time favorite Dave Mason songs...

  • I had a cat, Mrs. linky, who was not fond of Stevie Wonder's harmonica work on this recording. She'd meow and leave the room after several twists and turns of her ears failed to ease her discomfort. I happen to love the recording, perhaps somewhat because of it's effect on old Mrs. Linky, rest her kind soul.
