Rutherford County, TN Election Commission meeting January 18, 2011

Micah Forrest addresses new election administrator, Tom Walker over concerns that state election laws and sunshine laws have been violated. In addition, Micah addresses the fact that Walker and election commission chairperson, Doris Jones broke written pledges to not run for administrator within one year of stepping down from the commission. As neither Walker or Mrs Jones responds to the questions, members in the crowd ask Doris, "Why are you dodging the questions?"
Tension in the room builds as one gentleman declares, "i didn't start this, damnit! But I'll finish it!"
The questions still remain unanswered.........

Funny part (other than the chairwoman's husband getting all riled up) is that there is a HUGE pink elephant in the room (40 citizens that pay these commissioner's salaries) and the commissioners proceed to give lip service to the first guy's firing (yeah, sorry about that, that was a shame dude) and then tried to carry on with their meeting as if nobody else was even there - not only did they not expect to field questions, but they hoped that if they ignored the elephant, it would just be gone.
