CPDSA Skate Circle with Danny Krivit

The Central Park Dance Skaters' Association (CPDSA: www.cpdsa.org) setup a free public outdoor roller-disco on Center Drive in Central Park on weekends and holidays. There is a roster of DJ regulars who take it in turns spinning, but occasionally a guest DJ will throw down, either for publicity or as a contribution to the community. One Sunday Danny Krivit, one of the residents of the legendary Body & Soul NYC parties and in his own right much revered founder of the 718 Session parties, guest DJed.

Ecco a voi dove si puo' vivere questo avvenimento se non siete pratici ni NYC: si entra dalla parte ovest della 72 street oltre strawberry field(pezzo di parco dedicato a john lennon) verso il centro del parco. segui semplicemente la strada.è vicino alla fontana B. e al Mall prosegui su quella che viene chiamata Skaters road, sentirai la musica! divertiti!!!

This is what its about!!!! I love this part of the park. I would go there every Sat and Sun and just watch the skaters and listen to the music. Whatever problems I had, or the people skating had, was put on the back burner! Please post more videos from there

Skaters circle is mid-April-end of October, 3-6:30 pm weekends & holidays, immediately followed by the deep house after-party at 7 pm, about 30 yards away along the same road. During the winter season November - March, the after-party starts at 3 pm, as long as the temperature's 55 degrees or above & it's sunny.

April-October there are also two drum circles nearby, 5 pm until 10 pm.

Enter Central park at east or west 72nd street, walk towards the middle of the park near the Bandshell.
