Maybe I'm just weird, but I like having the sound along with it...makes it that much freakin' cooler. It does probably drain the battery quicker, but what the hell...

Absolutely! Having the sound is cool... The sound board does not take hardly any current. I have all of the current measurements shown in my tutorial thread linked in the video comments... :)

@jayandersons Just about a half an Amp... (465mW's - set for longevity) Some people are pushing these same diodes to 800mA's!
