@ViolaineCandy That is also the same in the United Kingdom. My silver shaded chinchilla had a litter of kittens. In the uk it's completely normal for a silver shaded and a golden to mate. In any case you'll still end up with a chinchilla. :--)

I am a breeder of Chinchilla/Silver Shaded Persians. I hope you didnt spend extra money for a Chinchilla shaded because that cat as beautiful as it is, is not a Chinchilla it a Silver shaded. You gotta watch out for that with breeders. Absolutely big beautiful eyes on it though.
