Steve Hillage is amazing. I saw him at the Kursal in Southend back in the 1970s. I also loved and appreciated Gong - both underestimated musically and for the messages they were giving out. Steve Hillage does indeed "Kick Ass" as someone put it.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Steve and all the members of his incredible band in 1978 when he headlined The Depply Vale festival. I have always thought that he should have had so much more recognition than he got. Shows what closed minds the music public generally have. Gong is another example of this closed mind culture. I Love Steve and Gong and have done so for more years than I can remember.
