  • I thought you couldn't put two tarantulas together without them trying to kill each other!!!!! :0

  • @ryanandblake77 They were placed next to each other for a photo opp and that was it. They are predictable and easy to control.

  • @talkenlate04 but if they tryed living together something might happen right? I got my first tarantula a few months ago and I dont know very much about them but the basic needs.

  • @ryanandblake77 You are correct, you do not want to be keeping them together permanently because they will end up fighting. Some species of tarantula will live together well though.

  • @talkenlate04 oh. thanks for the fact :). Do you know anything about rose hairs? Mine won't molt even though she is showing all of the signs.

  • @ryanandblake77 G. rosea are slow slow growers. I have seen one be in premolt for near a year. They really just do things on their own time. Just make sure you keep fresh water in its bowl and enjoy the wait. Keep offering food too because sometimes these guys will eat more in premolt.

  • @thesspectacularr if you get a look at the underbelly of the spider if its a female it has a clear duct for spermweb to be placed,

Also male T's have small hooks on the second to final joint of the front leg's to hold back the females fangs during mating.

generaly you can tell by the abdomen size a female will be more bulky

if you paid less than £100--$160 id presume its female

male t's are substantialy more expensive.

I got a Brachypelma smithi a few months ago and i noticed her abdomen changed to a pale color, presumeing thats the pre-molt stage, but then she went back to her original color i was rather confused so i left her to it then when i woke up the next morning she had shed the skin completely and was a fresh new Stunning T.

  • i have a mexican fireleg but i dont know is it a female or a male somebody help ?

  • @ryanandblake77 You can try put poecilotherias with poecilotherias and avicularias with avicularias together, they live in colonys in wild some times, but dont try it theres a chance of cannibalism

  • so color can be a factor to know if a b. boehmei is a male or female? and do females can be leggier too or only males?

  • @talkenlate04 thank you very much because i was begining to think something was wrong

  • i have those variation of boehmei but the lighter color someone told me it was a baumgarteni. I am lil bit confused bcoz baumgarteni should have a black carapace.. btw both female
