The is the amazing song from Tony McPhee. It is on his solo album "The Two Sides Of Tony McPhee". Because the track is so long, i have to split it into two parts. So please listen to Part 2, too.
Finally thanks to the poster of one of the most influential music when I was growing up in the 70s. So far ahead of his time. What was even great was I heard it at a radio station in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.
When I was a young man in the 70's in San Antonio Texas, I heard this on a then very progressive radio station, KISS F.M. 99.5 F.M.. Mark Champion was the D.J. Those days are as was said in Blade Runner, "LOST! IN TIME LIKE TEARS IN THE RAIN". Thanks indeed for the post. Brings back fond memories.
like others here I had bought this album in the 70s from the record store I use to work at the owner turned me on to it I swere I was the only person in the state of Ohio who owned it no one I knew had it it was a treasure, However I moved to Arizona in 91 I loaned it to a co-worker and never saw it again I could not find it anywhere, told someone about it and was surpised he is the only person I ever talked to that knew of it and he is the one that lead me to it can't believe it;s here thanks.
I am amazed to find this on utube, I owned the album bought in the 70's and sold with a stack of old records a yr or 2 ago. Is there a way to copy this stuff onto the hard drive rather than just listen.
i too had this album and saw him doing it live. he told us that his TS meant tough shit and was given to him by a record executive or something lol
great memories.
