@AntiSocialChannel85 You're WAY over generalizing. And... in a free society, you can study hard, make good choices, and become a doctor. That's the only way it should be.
@pluto4847 You need to understand what is being ranked and how. The ranking you are referring to is weighted such that the more socialized medicine the country delivery, the higher ranked it is (lower number).
@gopc32 The countries that offer Universal healthcare pay for it through their taxes. Now you might thin k this is a Gov takeover, but even the British still pay less than Americans. Britain is ranked 18th on healthcare, America is ranked at an embarassing 37th rank. Its fact.
With America healthcare, you oay $7,000 per year via health insurance plus co-pays and deductibles. And not everything is covered. So statistically we American s pay more for healtyhcare than the british.
@gopc32 Fair, free, universal health-care for EVERYONE is the only RIGHT way. Insurance companies making billions every year on peoples misfortune and misery, it's WRONG!
Free healthcare for all is a human right, not a privilege. America/s the only civilized country that does not provide this for its citizens. Shameful.
Medicare and Medicaid work, ask any doctor who he'd rather send a bill, he'll always say the govt. My doc friend pays a person to argue with blue cross etc over a $35 bill.
@gopc32 It's paid for through taxes. People would no longer have to pay monthly premiums to a rich insurance company. We all pay for it through our taxes based on your income. It's the ONLY FAIR WAY...

@oldNavyJZ The study has nothing to do with 1) how much it costs or 2) the quality of the care.
