Like every other single person you are making wrongful presumptions of me and making blanket statements regaurding GMO's. I am NOT advocating GM for purposes of pesticide or herbicide, what I am advocating is for people to stop judging the science itself and ignoring the enourmous potential.

Species could be granted natural immunity to pathogens and pests, things that have decimated entire species such as the American Chestnut or Elm. Bats are being wiped out by a fungus from europe.

I was using modification in a broad sense of changing a species to better fit our needs. I've looked into this issue quite a bit, and I mean actual studies that have sound methodology, not the crap the floats around blogs and other social media these days, so I've actually done my homework.

You know, maybe you are right. Maybe we should get rid of all genetically modified organisms, they after all COULD be toxic. I'm sure all the diabetics won't mind at all.
