At this point were ready to fuel up tank #4 and crank it up. Tried to hand crank to show how it's NOT supposed to be done, but there was no fuel in the system, so back to the electric.

  • It is indeed a very behaved aircraft. I have since sold it and moved on to helicopters. But while I had it it was a great plane. Check out my "first flight" video. You can see it perform there.

  • Is this your first plane lol cause you sound like you know it all. Its better to hand start you engines with a saftey stick if its your first engine so you can feel the compression in the motor plus its an os. PS your engine will start easier if you prime it usally 7-8 ccw rotations of the prop while you have your finger over the air intake.

  • I have flown them since about 81. I have had too many bad experiences with hand starting. Including a broken finger LOL. But to each his own.

  • sorry man about my rudeness and with a safety stick is how I start my gassers usually the 20+cc ones

  • No worries. I gave the Nexstar to my wife. I just got into helicopters so that is an entire new ballgame. Already smashed it up and only have had it a week LOL

  • Yo no estoy seguro que entiendo la pregunta. El motor cuando usted lo consigue es apenas si en todo corre. Usted tiene que romperlo en para acerca de 4 tanques antes de volarlo.

  • @ochoapedro49 You need to break-in the engine

  • I bought this plane & customized it by putting in a 4-stroke OS engine, which for me was a big deal. I havent flown it yet for various reasons that I wont go into. When I got the Nexstar it needed extra work because of poor quality, and thats why I dont recommend it. If youre looking for a plane for the first time flyer Id recommend the Apprentice by E-flite (electric). Its a foam plane with about a 65 inch wingspan, so its not small & gives you some stability. I have flown that & it's a blast !

  • what do u mean with breaking?

  • BROOM BROOM

  • i highly suggest getting this plane.

  • Your tool tray must be pretty nasty with all the oil and stuff coming out of the exhaust and right into the tray.

  • It looks to me like you were flipping the prop the wrong way when you were trying to hand start it.

  • if you really want to fly, then buy the plane. To proove my point, type in hobbico NextSTAR select RTF in the browser
