Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys. Alot of critics called this the weakest song off of Violator, but I think it's the best-sung track on the whole album. And anyways, there IS NO weakest track on Violator. The whole freaking album is amazing. Long live DM!!!!!!!

I got it off the original cd. My dad got it his senior year in high school, and I've been hooked on "Violator" and all of Depeche Mode's music since.

I come to listen to this fantastic Depeche Mode track and Youtube has the audacity to assume I'd be interested in Will.I.Am!!!!?
the last :72 seconds of this song captures my youthful innocence (keyboard melody) which transpires into the betrayal and hurt (Gore's gutteral "Ohhhh") I experienced followed by the ever-present guffaw/snicker of Evil's laughter at having almost destroyed me with the winds of a life spent in futility blowing in the close of this track. The postscript of this song 'Blue Dress' seems to tap into a rarely visited arena in my soul.

dm did a song on black celebration called new dress and that was a pretty weak effort by their standards. this is pure quality.

@womba68 Hey, I like that song. But I get what you mean. Not their best track, but I like the lyrics.
