  • I love Hugh Grant. I think he is naturally funny. The questions asked are not in-depth analytical issues and he didn't take them to be. His answers were exactly what they should have been. I really enjoyed his answers.

  • ahh... effortlessly beautiful...

  • @tfpp1 My thought exactly

  • Brilliant episode. I've always been a fan of Hugh Grant and what I love about him is that he doesn't take himself at all seriously which is commendable. He also happens to be a really good actor with a lot of charisma.

  • @tfpp1 I understand what youre saying..but I think its more.. he is sort of an exception to the rule. In every profession there are those who succeed..but do it the wrong way..so, there isnt a lot you can take away from their success. Hideo Nomo the pitcher is an example..great pitcher for years..but when asked for advice all he could say was "Dont throw how I throw..its terrible"

  • @tfpp1 no i don't think it's just you. he's definitely self-deprecating.

  • There's a difference between self-deprecation and humility. Al Pacino, Harrison Ford, Russell Crowe - They're humble. Hugh seems like he uses humor and self-deprecation as a deflector or defense mechanism. Maybe it's just me...

  • I don't know, I felt kinda bad for the students. Those questions were better than his answers. He's lucky in that he's made a handful of movies that have become quite successful. But he's really not of a caliber that I think the students can glean much wisdom from; just a bunch of laughs. Even Robin Williams and Will Smith and other "funny" actors had deeper answers. His British humor is perfectly fine, but as an actor in THAT studio, he's sort of bumbling around, I feel...

  • He is SO self-deprecating!

  • i think he's adorable
