Replacing the tail motor in the Walkera 4#3B helicopter. It's not a hard job, but it's very small!

  • do all helicopters have to change their tail motor sometime?

  • @jesse123613 If the tail motor is brushed, it will probably have to be replaced at some time. The tiny little "whisker" brushes wear out pretty quickly.

  • how often do you need to replace the tail motor?

  • @morganhv You will need to replace the tail motor when the heli can no longer maintain the yaw axis during throttle up. So if the tail is kicking out when you don't want it to, it means the motor is getting weak.

  • @morganhv When the tail will no longer stay in place, it's usually time to replace the tail motor.

  • That was a good one.

  • Thank you.
