Lots of Skoda's from the Netherlands and the Czech Republic! We visited an awsome American classic car showroom in Germany, and a little private museum in the Netherlands.

It was a nice, wet, windy day with me having my waterpump drivewheel broken in two pieces. Luckily it happened in front of a farm mechanisation-company, who was very helpful and loaned us a welding-machine. Where my fellow Skoda-drivers helped me and put all the parts together again (because I can't weld!). Half an hour and a sandwich later we were on the road again.

Thanks for a wonderful day, guys!

Meisten in sehr gute Zustand!

  • I love these rear-engined Skodas!

A few days ago I bought a Skoda 120gls from 1982, my dream has come true.

And is very comfortable and easy and good to drive.

Today I drove for the first time.

The Sound of rear-engine is beautiful! :)

I wish you a lot of accident-free kilometers!

  • @HORSE1600 Thanks and Congratulations! I love the engine sound too. I hope you can enjoy the car for a long time.

  • I do not understand why people - in the west - bought old Skoda cars. They had a lot of brands to choose and they chose just poor Skoda. In my country people had money but no cars. Skoda was only one car what they could buy. But in the west?

  • @viandisto These cars are fun to drive, especially the old rearengined ones. And I think they're pretty looking, kinda classical. Basically the same reason so many Beetles, 2CV's, Mini's, Trabants, Fiat 500's, Renaults 4, Opel Kadetts and other very basic old designs are so popular. But I can understand that if you are forced to buy only one type of car, you are going to hate that car. But that wasn't the case over here. If you liked it, you bought it.

  • @classicczech There is a club but most of the cars are modern. Cars in Poland dont't have easy life so many of rare ones where destroyed, often by idiots. We still have many old Skodas but it's very impressive to see so many of them in one place. I realy don't understand that what's going with old cars in Czech Republic... This is sad.

  • @deekaysk I will spread the news in the club!

  • @DonCorleoneKR That's correct, the 1985 blue 105L has the wrong rear panel. It's from a 1982 120GLS. But the car was in good condition (no rust, just a lot of polishing to do). BTW, wasn't there a very active Skoda-club in Poland?

  • @nepeeer I look forward to your photo's! We made a lot too, i'm uploading them this week on skodaclub.nl.
