Perhaps one of Sharon's earliest recording for a daptone affiliate, switchblade features the soul providers laying the groove. Track is off the Gimme the Paw LP, and is some of Bosco Mann's earliest work, as far as I know of... Instant classic released way back when Sharon and the Dap-kings didn't even exist yet. MDR! Yes.... James Brown and much more... NPR just did a thing on her and she explained how it all came down... She literally improvised this and in her own words, this just flowed out of her. She's a great singer. This is just her talking smack.

I remember when this was released in Paris I saw it the first time in the record shop called Croco-disc. I loved the paw thing. I also remember I chose a Nino Nardini album (the one with "Trampoline") instead.
