@1A9090 they fought for a vision given to them by Adolf Hitler, so did any german who went to war... men from France, Belgium, Holland, England, etc. joined the SS. do you think they would join in just to get killed?? they believed in something and that's far better then what the world has to offer today.

comunism vs socialism at its finest! at this point the Germans were Americas best allies. If the russians were beaten the cold war would of never existed Cuba would be a tropical paradise by now and free! hugo chavez would be working at burger king! General patton wanted to renlist the german army to go fight the russians because he knew Russia would be a thorn In the USA side for the next 50 years!
