The Rock-O-Plane at Jubilee Park in August of 2004...

Taken in August of 2004 before Jubilee Park shut down for good!!! Goldston's (Crystal) Beach at White Lake also had a ROCK-O-PLANE and I remember always seeing it when my famliy and I went camping at White Lake. The White Lake ROCK-O-PLANE was even around in 1989, but was gone by 1991. It looked very similar to the Jubliee Park one. (I have a picture of it in the background in one of my FACEBOOK photo albums.) I never rode the White Lake ROCK because I was too young then. (Same goes for the Saturn Six at White Lake. I was too young and sort of scared.) The first time I rode a ROCK was in the early-to-mid 80's at the New Hanover County Fair....then I rode the Jubilee Park one. (The last time...)
