  • I like how you deleted all the negative (constructive criticism) comments...

  • @walterbrunswick to be honest with you i do not go through my comments. but some of them are outta hand. but i dont have time to go through 300+ comments

  • I agree with above, I have been cutting for over 15 years in all weather and terrain, dont put the saw on the ground behind you, if you ned to retreat you may trip on it. As the tree starts to go stand 90 degrees to the fall and well back so a slipping or back shearing trunk wont get you, my safety glasses are always on under my sthil chainsaw hardhat with brush shield, they saved my eyes once, consider the chaps if your putting your left leg out like that and be careful! Be safe, have fun!

  • @blydakid yea ive been out loggin full time now fer about half year fucken love it sooo much. i have been gettin more and more techneques the more im out in the woods. my boss cant believe how far ive come considering im a first gen logger. but in this video i think i was 15 or so im 19 now so a lot has changed :)

  • I'm not a professional, but you downed the tree exactly where you wanted it and in very little time = job well done! The technique seems to work great! Just wish I could see it from a camera angle where we could see how the cut was made on the fell side of the tree. Not sure about the negative comments some people made, but knowing how some are on youtube it's probably people being arrogant and ignorant. Anyways, what is you take on your own video? Do you recommend Stihl saws over others?

  • @SuddenlyJesus stihl and husky are soooo damn close its not even funny...

  • pretty good

don't stand so close to a falling tree base though. It could slide down the stump and spring at you.

tighten your belt a bit more so your pants are were they are supposed to be so you can run if you need to, without tripping over your trousers.

eat more protein meals so you don't snap those matchstick arms off ( just joking - they are a work in progress and will someday be mighty) :)

    cheers,

    dave.

  • @bunjit1 thanks for the tips. and yes in the past 3 or so years i have gotten a little bit more beafier in the arms.

  • Your going to find that someone isn't going to be happy about what you do or how you do it. In my opinion anytime you fall a tree and it lands where you want it, you walk away from the fall with a saw that runs you did good!

  • how do you get the tree to fall the way you want it to?

  • @bunjit1 Don't laugh at the matchstick arms...big things come in small packages. I run a ms660 all day with no problems...If you don't believe me, check out the cutting video I posted. I'm 140 lbs soaking wet, and it doesn't slow me down. Anyhow, the only advice I can give is to sharpen that @%$#%@% saw....you should see big chunks, not dust coming out of it. Pines aren't particularly dangerous, but cutting with a dull saw is dangerous. I cut a lot of chestnut oak and ash, dull means dead.

  • fuck youre a douche, get some spenders.

  • nice job bro... way to put yourself out there... you know there's gonna be plenty of armchair-generals on here giving you flack. Just glad to see you got the balls to get and there and do it. Props for technique also. What one person considers "safe" might actually create a hazardous or accident for you... Looks like you know how to carry yourself and your saw.

  • I liked the vid wedgeg are a shure thing on my job sites I posted a vid on a tree job I did yesterday. I love having wedges don't do much logging last time I did it was a few years back in washington state. I do mostly do commerchal tree work now for like the city or for my busness. Forestry lic should be easy to get got mine 5 years ago my companie name is. ALAME LOGGING,TREE SERVICE, AND FORESTRY CONSERVATION, I get ok busness. Sounds like you doing good reading your comments. Just be safe.
