I think that most of the time you can't change people's beliefs. You should just ignore the haters. I think it's cool what you're doing and I admire your nontraditional approach to transition. I'm just going to guess, but do you live in the South or bible belt? Because it seems like where you live, from what I gather, is a very conservative place. Have you considered moving to a more liberal city?
