i hate this movie they didn't do anything right for the game they did it from the book they claim but really it feels like they stole characters from the game and just put together there own crap this entire series annoys me. I rather watch the animated movie with claire and leon.

What do you mean "Alice is in her correct outfit"? Alice was made up for the movies. And you left out the incredibly silly subplot of her gaining super powers for no reason. Kinda goes against the whole concept of horror and tension when your main character is twice as fast and strong as a normal human and fighting zombies. Slow, generally unthreatening zombies.

actually the first movie had nothing to do with the first game and the other ones just go way farther away from the games its stupid

I actually preferred the CGI Resident Evil film, the newer one, not seen the one of these yet though

well i like the movies but this may be because im a person who has never played the games or seen anything related to the game franchise i took it for what it was - a zombie movie i think if your not a fan of the franchise then it makes for a good movie

Love your reviews but you're wrong about Resident Evil 1. It has virtually nothing to do with the video game. Infact the only resident evil film that had any relation to the games was the animated film Resident Evil: Degeneration which was a pretty good film. I love the Resident Evil games, and trust me the movies have diddly shit to do with them, it's like they just used the name to get people to watch it then made their own movie.

I can safely say the films did NOT cater to the needs of the fans at all. The only Resident Evil film that even has the gall to be called a Resident Evil film is Degeneration. And I swear to God that the character Alice does not exist in the Resident Evil universe, unless she was in one of the obscure spin-offs I didn't play (like Survivor or something).
