Dona Nobis Pacem - Tania Opland on ocarina

Available on the CD release of my seasonal album "Winter's Time" - this is a tune I was playing with before the 2009 ocarina gathering in Seattle (see youtube.com/ocarinafestival), hoping to get a bunch of players together on it. The opportunity never came up, so I was left with the unfinished idea, and Mike decided to do something with it (I did the editing, though, and messed up the synching a bit toward the end -- sorry about that).

The Langley bass ocarina is the one I had practiced it on -- the other two are brand new to me, from the Ocarina Gathering.

The tune is "Dona Nobis Pacem" (Latin for "Give Us Peace"). The words come from the Latin Mass, and the melody dates back to the 16th century. Some sources attribute it to JS Bach.
