I use 'Corel Ulead Video Studio 11' to edit my home videos. The software is simple to use and I'm happy with the results.Pinnacle and Adobe premiere kept crashing my computer.I've never used a Mac, so I'll just take your word for it.Your high definition video quality is superior to my dvd pal quality, for sure! And Sony does have an excellent reputation in Greece!

Very nice steady shooting! You must be a professional cameraman using a professional cam. I was there that day but couldn't get the best view on my cam!

Thank you for your comment. The video was shot using a standard Sony HD Video Cam held high on a small monopod to get above the crowd. I did use to be on the staff in a photographic school but have very little videography experience. Thank you for the encouragement

I think you did a great job with your Sony cam. I use a Hitachi DVD amateur cam and I was standing on a small ladder which I had brought with me from the house, but people kept pushing me all the time (xa!xa!). I'm surprised I didn't fall off the ladder! I noticed transitions in your video. Are you using any particular editing software?

I edit using 'iMovie 08' on an Apple Mac. This is standard software supplied with the all Macs and can be set up to automatically upload edited videos to You Tube. I have installed Final Cut Express but I rarely use it. When I used PCs I used to play around with Pinnacle products but became fed up with the crashes! Everything is so much easier using a Mac (it really is!)

This may sound funny to ask, but is your monopod black? And were you wearing a colorful hat on Carnival Day? And was there a lady with you while you were shooting? I was standing right across the Town Hall on my ladder shooting, and at some point I remember I turned my head and saw a man on my left, only 7-8 meters away holding a monopod with a cam. The monopod attracted my attention because it's rare among greek crowds. Was that you? I'm wondering!
