Just a tip. Since there was only vertical pan in the shot, you could have taken multiple photos of the pan at different angles then stitched in photoshop. that is now your background which you animate with a camera in after effects. since you know the speed the camera is animated from after effects you apply that to your 3d object being destroyed. @CebuLips9 Apologies. It was a 10gb file since it is 30 minutes long, so compression did its thing.
