  • Who in their right mind wants to try and race a VW Beetle - possibly the most atrociously handling popular car of the last 70 years.

  • 1:52 What about seat belt?

    3:22 Are they crazy?

    3:31 scary

    3:37 Violent!

    3:51 Ridiculous

  • Swingaxle vs nurburgring 0-1

  • I thought the guy on the bike at 0:58 was funny, but the beetle chucking the driver out is just hilarious.

  • 1:02

    He´s a rally driver...

  • Anyone else notice a theme emerging of combinations of air-cooled rear-mounted engines and swing-axle rear suspension? Mind you, it's not just the Krauts, there are quite a few other rear-engined cars here...

  • 3:22 Imagine if they'd rolled over. :/

  • 1:49 da miedooo

  • Great to see this film ! so many rear engined cars proving the pendulum principle on cornering... VW Beetles, Renault R8, NSU Printz, Porsche and even Fiat. In forty years time a couple of generations on will be laughing at all our new high tech cars of today.

  • Road holding and stability and suspensions were crap at that time.... Looks like these people don`t learn from their mistakes ..
