  • this is a badass exercise and I've been doing it for years. Kudos for doing it with 22.5lbs in each hand, pimp.

  • @sub7design You're almost right. Extending the arms out to the front (overhead) would increase the length of the lever, increasing difficulty greatly. Try doing a GHR bent at the waist, easy right? Now do a straight one, harder? It's a longer lever.

  • @sub7design How the fuck is the glute ham raise worthless? Are you to fat and/or weak to do them?

  • @sstslayer Waaaaah waaaah wahhhh. Suck his dick all you want, it's a stupid exercise that will be forgotten for it's worthlessness.

  • @sub7design because you asked so nicely? fuck you tosser, you haven't won any bodybuilding comps, you don't know shit, you just jumped on /fit/ one day and thought you learnt it all. Not every fucking exercise has to be by the book. For all you fucking know he enjoys the resistance his arms have to give to keep the weight in place.

  • @sstslayer Stop being so fucking whiny and annoying. Let me troll in peace, asshole.

  • @sstslayer A glute hame raise is an excellent exercise. A weighted one is even tougher. But it's common sense of weight placement. What's the point? The glute ham is a posterior chain movement. His hand placement doesn't add shit to that movement it is a challenging isometric hold for the upper body. It's like doing a bench press and a leg extension or a squat with curls. It's stupid and doesn't benefit the main movement. So yes it's like doing a squat on a bosu ball.

  • @sub7design You're trying to tell a professional bodybuilder what to do with no credible knowledge yourself.

It isn't a complete bullshit exercise, you weren't even saying that in your initial comment so don't even trry, you were talking about hand placement, which shows no evidence of being any better than what he was doing, it's his personal preference.

So don't try and say he does stupid shit like squats on bosu balls, because the exercise itself was never the main point in your comment.

  • @sstslayer So that much experience is needed to do complete BS exercises eh? Is that when I can squat on a bosu ball and do step aerobics too??

  • @sub7design come back when you have 12 years of natural bodybuilding experience..

If you didn't understand, that means get the fuck out.
