There is one side of me that loves the "ever growing" and "ever improving" nature, but are we really setting ourselves up for failure? Here are some New Years Resolution Ideas to help you SUCCEED this next year.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IDEAS -- TIP #1
ENLIST IN AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER
The best way to ensure that your New Years Resolution Idea becomes a success is to enlist the help of a friend or loved one. If you can, pick somebody who has a similar goal. For instance, if you are looking to make more dials in your business, maybe set up a weekly call or share your honest numbers. Or if you are trying to get in shape, how about meeting each other at the gym?

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IDEAS -- TIP #2
MAKE IT PUBLIC
One of the best decisions I ever made was taking control of the harmful substances I was ingesting (yes, that means giving up Diet Soda)...I bemoaned over the idea for months but when I decided to make it apart of my New Years Resolution Ideas... I thought -- why not share this on Facebook? So, I posted a picture of a yummy can of Diet Mountain Dew and proclaimed my journey. Everyone was supportive and on board! I even got called out from a sister-in-law (Hi Richelle) who saw me drinking a can over Christmas. Tisk tisk. Make your New Years Resolution ideas public, you'll have no choice BUT to succeed... that or endure massive public ridicule.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IDEAS -- TIP #3
MAKE IT ATTAINABLE
Who doesn't want to be a millionaire? But if you made $20,000 last year, it's probably impossible for your subsconscious to even BELIEVE such a number. Make incremental goals that will align with your beliefs and you'll have a higher success rate! Need to lose 60 pounds? Never lost more than 20 in a shot? Set your goal for 20 and then re-evaluate. It's a lot easier to lose 20 pounds three times than try for a massive target that seems miles away. Your New Years Resolution Ideas need to be within grasp. This goes for anything measurable.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IDEAS -- TIP #4
KEEP IT GOING
Goal setting shouldn't be reserved for 1 month out of the year. My husband Josh and I keep notebooks and write down all of our goals, our plans, our wishes, and intent. We believe that it helps us get very targeted with where we are going with our life and increases focus. Only 3% of people write down their goals or continue on writing their New Years Resolution Ideas on a regular basis. Is it any reason by 97% of people are dead or dead broke by the age of 65? I don't think so. Your New Years Resolution Ideas should continue week in and week out as the year goes by...
