Sketchy - Episode 2 (Part 2)

Second video, second episode of Sketchy, the radio podcast created by Jack Avery and Toby Silcock for our podcast assignment at Narrabundah College last year. If anyones seeing this one first, then you should probably go through it chronologically, just to help you out. But hey, dont say Im a fascist or anything, thats just the way it was designed. Do whatever you want.

Now, I know Im supposed to describe this video. I know Im supposed to attach a LABEL to it. Supposed to TAG it with words, and GROUP it. Stick in with the others, conform to the mainstream public picture of comedy, a self-perpetuated travesty of meaning designed to break down and saturate the purity art into easy, bite-sized chunks of deep-fried, pop-cultured mediocrity so that the normal man can browse the web knowing safely that nothing is going to CONFRONT him, nothings going to CHALLENGE the way the status quo has masticated for millenia, nothings going to force him to PUSH the boundaries of perception and life.

Well I aint gonna conform! Im not going to DESCRIBE and TAG our work! Our work is a free-form, spaced-out meld of concept and meaning, meaning and perspective, perspective and concept. It is a journey of discovery, and voyage into the soul and a projection of the inherent human condition that reaches out from the screen and pulls you into a world unknown by the human mind yet strangely familiar, a world where the everyday is turned on its head by the majesty of conceptualism, a world of surrealism, shapes, colours, sounds, thoughts, fantasies, light, and enlightenment. It will change the way you like at life, and the way life looks at you.

Its also got some funny sketches, thrown in, too.
