@layjahlove -- Fun movie. The fact is Richard O'Brien wrote the script, song lyrics and music for the original stage play. He purposely wrote a bad play (his own admission) with great music seeking to earn recognition as a songwriter. However it turned out to be the longest running play in the history of the London Palladium. It then went on to be the most successful cult film ever w/ O'Brien himself as Riff Raff.
