@jackherman00 at my club in the uk we perform this faster and with a guy running at you and he only brings out his hand at the last moment. The guy in this video is stupid

@ThibaaauuulT this isn't fake- when I was nine I could perform this on an uncooperative strong 6foot guy. It works

@aequitas189 If thats the case, I'll just ask a man to walk towards me with his hands aiming at me, 'like a zombie' and i will wallop him into a pulp, to create muscle memory. Then when people attack you in a completely different manner, your muscle memory will not work. Dun try to criticize those who criticize because it makes u look even more ignorant. We may not be martial artist but we have the basic sense of judgement to see what is practical and what is not.

@TKD344 Those who pretend to be a true martial artist try not to criticise others. If the art deserves to be criticize, they should accept it gracefully and only then they will change for the better. Thats how all martial arts are refined rite? the founder explores the flaws and improve them, if they just accept the art as it is, they are just waiting for ppl to prove them wrong. fighting should be the last resort but when u fight , u fight to win, not fight to be and educated one

one of the first things you learn in aikido is to take a fall, if you didnt you would be seriously hurt. thats why you see the guys getting right back up. they also do not compete, its not an aggresive sport, its a defensive art. they dont have an aikido kid. i have tried two actually techniques in real life, one took the guy 15 minutes to recover, another guy got back up as soon as the wrist lock was over with, it depends on how much you decide to apply.
