Hey SCOOTER..... WOW! Great effort in building that, but it could be so much better! The radio might play for 24 hours, but the TV even at about 1 amp draw at 12 V which is about the norm for travel TV's you only have 7 hours at best! This is a real minimum set up! even the Harbor Freight stuff would blow this away! Great idea, but just not going anywhere!

Hey KC4YJB have to say that is the best little set up i have seen! I have always wanted to make one but dont have the solar out put power. I have some questions.
1. whats the power out put of your two solar panels?
2. do you have a solar charger controller if so what type?

What is the point of the switch for charge mode? With lead acid batteries, you can charge and use at the same time.
