@FavreandMariofan It would have been weird though to put Kane in the title run right before Wrestlemania. The Rock beat Kurt Angle that year at No Way Out for the the title, after the RR. Vince already had it planned for Austin and Rock to face off so Austin could turn heel. Vince knew what he was doing at that time, but I will agree on your opinion that Kane SHOULD have had a period of domination. Austin may not have been as big though had that happen. Think about it...

well i think we can both agree that Austin is a better athlete than Kane thoe. Sure it's scripted and theres a reason y because Austin is the WWF and Kane is just a wrestler that works for the WWF. And Austin got rid of the ringmaster because he even said it sucked so he came up with the greated name and character in WWE history.

The only reason Austin became popular was the McMahon feud. Search The Ringmaster, you will see how pathetic Austin was before.
It would have been just as good, Austin could easily be there because he demanded it as a Triple Threat, and then we would have all three.

@TheFaisalano i agree with what u said about the rock nowadays but seriously nowadays it only takes a dropkick to pin kane and seriously Austin is the most popular superstar of all time and WM17 would not have been just as good, definately not better. U saw Austin signed all over the place. Kane is not unexperienced, in the old days he wasn't nowadays a newcomer faggot that weighs 150 pounds can beat kane. Austin and Rock are 50000 times the athletes kane is and Austin suits the main event
