Other than the fact that it's obviously situational, on Byakko nin/drk is most definitely better. You basically stun lock the guy. Lern2tank?

nin/drk owns sky, pld/nin and rdm/nin own sea, unless u have a nin who spent large sums of money on situational gear, then nin will have more damage reduction than pld. Ever blood tank jop and take 45 damage per hit? quite fun. HNMs pld and nin almost even out. Regardless, rdm is still the best tank.

anyway, I usually just stun the thing, helping the main tank or when a -ga goes off, if the tank drops (and he will drop :) ), I just take over, I'd rather have that PLD lose xp and all mages turn their attention to me :)

tanking is pld/nin + nin/drk, if you look there is another nin/drk there DDing adding extra stun when stuff gets bad or if nin tanking eats a tp move or ga, helps a lot to have another quick stun

whenever I tank byakko, I'm the only /drk there, other stunners are 2 BLMs and a ... BLU?(lol), dunno how they got it so tame in the vid, it usually pummels me non-stop, can hardly keep shadows up. I always die @25-30% health, that's when healers run out of MP and/or I fuck up with equip macros ; ;
